[00:04:59] Last Halloween, I somehow ended up at a weird sex cult party.

[00:05:04] It started when my coworker Malcolm, the guy who never speaks unless he has to, gave me

[00:05:10] this black envelope at work.

[00:05:11] Inside it, it just said, exclusive gathering, dress as your deepest fear.

[00:05:17] Of course, I didn't take it that seriously.

[00:05:19] I threw on a basic witch costume and showed up to the address, which turned out to be this

[00:05:23] massive mansion on the outskirts of town.

[00:05:26] From the moment I walked in, I knew something was off.

[00:05:29] The entire place was only lit by candles and everyone was wearing all sorts of weird costumes.

[00:05:34] Latex, leather, masks, the works.

[00:05:38] There was classical music being played over the speakers and there was this weird tension

[00:05:43] in the air.

[00:05:43] I felt like everyone was watching me, paying closer attention to me.

[00:05:48] My coworker Malcolm finds me right away and he's dressed in a latex skin-tight bodysuit

[00:05:53] that had huge horns on his head.

[00:05:55] He hands me a glass of something dark and bitter.

[00:05:58] It tasted like licorice mixed with fire.

[00:06:01] And without saying a word, he led me down a spiral staircase into the basement.

[00:06:06] The basement was even creepier.

[00:06:08] It was lined with candles and sexual BDSM art on the walls.

[00:06:13] In the center of the room was an altar and standing around it were maybe a dozen people,

[00:06:18] all in red cloaks.

[00:06:20] Malcolm leaned in and whispered,

[00:06:22] Tonight, we shed our earthly selves.

[00:06:25] At that point, I was ready to bail.

[00:06:27] But before I could, they handed me a black cloak and told me to strip.

[00:06:33] Everyone else was already doing it, so I did too.

[00:06:36] Figuring I was already in too deep and how was I going to get out of this?

[00:06:41] Once we were all stripped down naked, the ritual began.

[00:06:44] First, they formed a circle around the altar and started chanting low, rhythmic, almost hypnotic songs.

[00:06:51] I couldn't make out the words, but it felt like they were calling on something ancient or from another world.

[00:06:57] Then came the first step.

[00:06:59] Everyone took turns walking around the circle, staring into each other's eyes.

[00:07:04] Not touching, just staring.

[00:07:06] The tension was unreal.

[00:07:09] There was this charged energy, like everyone was on the edge of something.

[00:07:12] But no one was making the first move.

[00:07:15] Malcolm kept locking eyes with me, and it felt more intense than anything I'd ever experienced in my entire life.

[00:07:22] Then they brought out the oil.

[00:07:24] Oh God.

[00:07:26] Two people stepped forward with these black vials and began pouring this thick, fragrant oil onto each of our hands and over our heads.

[00:07:36] It was warm, almost too warm.

[00:07:38] And they instructed us to rub it all over our body and to our skin slowly, as if we were cleansing ourselves of something.

[00:07:46] Everyone did it, rubbing the oil on their arms, their chest, all while maintaining this intense eye contact.

[00:07:54] The next step was the mirror ritual.

[00:07:57] They placed this giant mirror in the center of the room, and one by one, we were told to stand in front of it, still covered in the oil, and look at ourselves for exactly one minute.

[00:08:08] They called it, facing your true reflection.

[00:08:11] When it was my turn, I stood there, staring at my own reflection, just like everyone else did, and at the end of the minute, they all joined hands and hummed together for 30 seconds straight.

[00:08:23] This is weird.

[00:08:26] Next, they handed me a large knife that had a ton of symbols on it.

[00:08:30] I didn't know what the symbols meant, but they told me to stab the mirror with it as hard as I could.

[00:08:37] So all looted up in the weird oil, all surrounded by a dozen strangers, I did it.

[00:08:42] I stabbed the mirror into my own reflection, and just like that, it was over.

[00:08:47] No wild orgy, no big reveal, just this collective sigh from the group as they all stood there, naked, dripping in oil like we'd just gone through something intimate.

[00:13:09] A few months ago, my friends and I decided to play with a Luigi board for fun.

[00:13:14] We weren't taking it seriously, but asking silly questions and so forth.

[00:13:25] Like there was actually someone on the other side.

[00:13:27] His name was Max.

[00:13:30] At first, it was just a creepy thrill.

[00:13:32] But over the next few weeks, I couldn't stop thinking about him.

[00:13:35] I started using the board on my own.

[00:14:26] I go for walks in the park at dusk.

[00:14:28] And even though no one else was around, I feel this presence besides me.

[00:17:18] I went again the next few nights, but couldn't find them again.

[00:17:22] So I started going to every haunted attraction I could find, just hoping to catch a glimpse of them again.

[00:17:31] I started researching local haunted houses and their actors, hoping to find them.

[00:17:35] I went to one attraction after another, always on the lookout for that same masked actor.

[00:17:41] One night at a creepy haunted maze, I finally found them again.

[00:17:48] And when our eyes met, I felt this insane connection.

[00:17:53] And for a moment, I was convinced he recognized me and felt that same sexual connection that I did.

[00:19:35] So this happened last Halloween and I swear I never been so freaked out and turned off all at once in my life.

[00:19:42] I decided to take my date to one of those haunted corn mazes.

[00:19:46] You know, the kind where actors in creepy costumes jump out at you from the cornfield.

[00:19:52] Seemed like the perfect mix of spooky and romantic.

[00:19:56] At first, everything was going great.

[00:19:58] The maze was super dark and the actors were doing their thing.

[00:20:01] Chainsaws, creepy clowns, the works.

[00:20:04] We were laughing, clinging to each other, and I was feeling pretty confident.

[00:20:07] But then we noticed this one guy.

[00:20:09] He wasn't like the others.

[00:20:12] He was not in costume.

[00:20:14] No chainsaw, no mask.

[00:20:16] Just this regular looking dude who kept following us from section to section with the maze.

[00:20:21] At first, I thought he was part of the scare.

[00:20:23] Like maybe they had planted a stalker character to mess with people.

[00:20:28] Something different and unique.

[00:20:29] But it started getting weird fast.

[00:20:32] Every time we turned a corner, he was there.

[00:20:34] Watching, creeping closer.

[00:20:36] And then out of nowhere, he got way too close to my date.

[00:20:39] Like trying to put his arm around her.

[00:20:42] Whispering things like, you should ditch him and come with me.

[00:20:46] That's when I realized this guy wasn't an actor.

[00:20:48] I confronted him and he just laughed like it was all a joke.

[00:20:51] My date was freaked out and the scary fun vibe of the night was totally gone.

[00:20:55] We tried to lose him in the maze, but the corn was so thick and the paths felt like they went on forever.

[00:21:01] We couldn't find the exit.

[00:21:02] And this guy kept lurking behind us, creeping us the fuck out.

[00:21:06] Finally, I said screw it.

[00:21:08] I wasn't about to play by the maze's rules anymore.

[00:21:11] We pushed through the corn stalks off the marked path, just trying to get away from this creep.

[00:21:16] He followed closely behind us, running to keep up.

[00:21:18] We ended up stumbling out into the parking lot, covered in dirt and leaves, but relieved we'd escaped.

[00:21:24] He ran towards the exit of the parking lot and we found security about 15 feet away.

[00:21:29] We told them what happened and after a few radio calls, they did a lights check of the maze.

[00:21:34] They turned on all the overhead field lights to completely light up the maze.

[00:21:37] We asked if they hire anyone like that and they said no.

[00:21:40] After the staff did a run through the maze searching for him and not finding anything,

[00:21:44] they turned the lights off and let the next group in.

[00:21:47] They gave us some free drink tickets to make up for it, which we enjoyed and it helped us forget about what had happened.

[00:21:53] But I wouldn't doubt he's still lurking around the maze doing the same thing to others.

[00:22:25] So, that's the only thing that freaks me out, but haunted houses.
