[00:00:01] This is Kinks and Cocktails, a podcast where we explore all things kink and all things drink. Kinks and Cocktails contains explicit content. Listener discretion is advised. Estamos en Zambia. Most of all, look.

[00:00:29] For you, in fact, coming up next time. Okay, great. You know what's really funny about that? What? I don't know if you know DJ North. No. Well, you should. Why?

[00:00:56] So, I played an After Hours party not too long ago and he played right after me and we just were like, we decided to call this Dumb and Bass. In which we just take the most ridiculous, we were just playing the most ridiculous drum bass remixes that were so fire of the most ridiculous songs. And at about 3.45 in the morning, he played a drum and bass remix of that. The George Michael saxophone. Yes.

[00:01:26] Love it. I'm never gonna guess. Yes. Okay. So, just at any rate, that takes me back right to that moment. Hi, everyone. You don't know the excitement I have for this episode today. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I mean, this is obviously my life. Yeah. So, if you're new here, my name is Katie. Yeah. And I'm Eve. Eve is a DJ. I am. And I'm married to a DJ. Mm-hmm.

[00:01:56] We're both ravers, huge music lovers. So, we're super excited. So, this episode is about music fetish, a.k.a. Melolagnia. I think I said that right. Yeah. Yeah. Here we are. Absolutely. Oh, my God. Yeah. I mean, this was one where I'm like, wow, man, there's so many directions, so many things to talk about. Mm-hmm. The fun facts for this one is like a mile long for me. Right.

[00:02:24] So, we probably won't get to all of them, but I'm so excited for this. Yes. Me too. Mm-hmm. So, how have you been? Well, here's a fun fact for me. We were going to record yesterday, and I couldn't see when I got up. You scared me when you texted me that. Yeah. It scared me. So, throughout the day, it got better. It potentially could be some mild vertigo or something. There's a couple other things going on, but today, my left eye is normal, and my right

[00:02:53] eye is kind of a titch blurry, but nothing like it was yesterday. I started off with double vision looking out of my left eye, or I'm sorry, my right eye. That only happens to me if I had too many cocktails. Yes. Yeah. You made me worried. I know, and I've never had that happen, even after drinking too much or anything. And I don't even drink that much to begin with, so. Goodness. Mm-hmm. Well, I'm glad you're feeling a bit better. Yeah, absolutely.

[00:03:21] Got an eye appointment next week, so we're all good. Yeah. Eve's okay. It's going to be fine. It'll be fine. It's going to be fine. It's fine. How about you? Uh, I've been good. Um, I guess this weekend, we are going to Seattle for a rave. Oh, yeah, I know. You told me about that. Yeah, to see some friends. Um, friends in Seattle, and, um, DJ Spree from Minneapolis is playing out there, so we're going to go. Very good DJ. Yeah. Amazing.

[00:03:51] I've never been to Seattle before, so I'm excited. Yeah. Um, and after Seattle, we're going directly to Vegas, because we're already on that coast. Like, why not? Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. So hop over there for a pool day, and we might see the Wizard of Oz at the Sphere. So. Oh, that's cool. Yeah. Yeah, so Seattle has a ton of fun places. Yes. So there is a place that doesn't advertise, and you wouldn't be able to find out about it, unless someone told you. I don't want to announce it on the show to give away the mystique of it, but I'll tell you about it afterwards.

[00:04:21] Is it the gum wall? No. Okay. No, no, no. It's way cooler than that. Because we're going to the gum wall. Yeah. Okay. Now, this place is very much... You wouldn't be able to find it. I mean, you can look it up on the internet and whatnot, but I... Tell me after. Yeah. I'll tell you after. All right. Yeah. So we're going to the Pikes place, I think it's called, the fish market, and then... Oh, yeah. The gum wall. I'm going to stick my gum on the wall, which I'm kind of grossed out about, but... I didn't do that. When in Rome.

[00:04:48] I did go to the original Starbucks for my kid and got them a teddy bear, although that was just... Felt dumb, but... Yeah, I'm not interested in that. It's just like a regular old Starbucks that's smaller than the rest. Yeah. In my opinion, so... I'm not a coffee or Starbucks girlie, so I'll... No, no. You can find me at the gum wall. Yeah. Right on. But the fish tossing and all that stuff... Uh-huh. That is awesome. Danny wants me to catch a fish. It's pretty hard. So... I'll try to take a video. Take a video. Yeah. For real. I will. Let's see what else.

[00:05:18] I went to see The Devil Wears Prada 2 in theaters. Yeah. My kid wanted to see that. We still have not seen it. I know you wanted to go see it, too, and I still haven't seen it, so... We saw it... I've been waiting. I'm not... For you or for my kid, whoever comes first, I guess. I'm not a fan. It was not good. Oh, okay, good. Well, maybe... The plot sucked. Interesting. I loved the first one. The first one, too. What? Yeah. It's like my comfort movie. I watch it all the time. I love it. Yeah. I've seen it a million times.

[00:05:46] I can probably recite it quote for quote, but the second one, the plot sucked. Interesting. I tried to watch the first one knowing that you asked me to see the second one, and I got about 20 minutes in and was like, I don't know if I can finish this. No. Not for everyone. I tried, but I'm like, mean fashion lady being mean to normal person. I don't know. It's not for everyone. Yeah.

[00:06:15] Maybe it gets better. But that's the only one. Maybe you'll like the second one. I don't know. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Let's see what else. Oh, I did something I've never done before in my entire life. Yeah. So I bought Danny flowers. Oh, yeah. What'd he do? He had this like stupid grin on his face. Like, like it was the cutest thing ever because he's never gotten flowers before in his entire life because men deserve flowers, too. Oh, my gosh. I should do that for Mike.

[00:06:44] Do it. I should. I've never done it before. And I was like at the store and I saw flowers. I'm like, you know what? Men deserve flowers, too. Yeah. And so I got him flowers and he had like this. I had him waiting at his gaming desk when he got home from work and he just like had this stupid eating grin on his face. Like, oh, my God. What? Like it was adorable. Oh, my gosh. That is adorable. Do this. I know Mike will probably cry a little bit. Yeah. Do this. Men deserve flowers, too. They do.

[00:07:13] And it was it felt so good. And he was so happy. It was adorable. Yeah. That's great. I have I've done that before, but it didn't have as good a response. Oh, yeah. So that's why I've really done it since. I'm sorry. Yeah. But I think Mike would actually have a good response to that. Yeah, he totally would. Yeah. He's good, dude. Absolutely. He's an absolutely amazing human being. He is. I love Mike. Yeah. He's poked me almost 3000 times now on Facebook. He's catching up to Danny. Danny's at 7000.

[00:07:41] We should actually do an episode on that because y'all have pokes on Facebook. A poke war. It's a poke war. Oh, I have maybe a thousand pokes total between all of my friends. Oh, my God. In the entirety of the world. And you all are like 10 times that just between the three of you. Yeah. It's gross. I love it. On the next episode of Kinks and Cocktails, we're going to be talking about poking and not what you think. Just a tip. My ADHD.

[00:08:09] I open up Facebook app like poke, poke, poke, poke, poke like 10 friends. Oh, my God. Anyways, drink pairing. Yeah. Why don't you go into that? Miss Pokemaster. Pokemaster Flex is your new name. Thank you. I'm honored. Oh, God. So before we go to drink pairing, I figured this is the perfect timing to tell this little story. Yeah. So Danny's a whiskey guy. Mm hmm.

[00:08:37] And the other night he was pouring his whiskey and he asked for an ice cube, as you do. Uh huh. So I went upstairs in the freezer. Oh, you already know where this is going. You already know where this is going. Yeah. Yeah. As a joke, I got him one of our butt plug ice cubes. And like, gave it to him. He's like, all right, whatever. It's funny. This is ice. At the end of the day.

[00:09:03] I was like, tick tocking over in the other area of the room and like, whatever, just having fun scrolling. And all of a sudden I hear him say, Katie. I'm like, what? He said, my butt plug ice cube just broke. Wow. It's a small stem on there. The little. Yeah. It's just a small stem. It just sounded funny.

[00:09:34] So. I was like, how did it break? Was it from, uh, you're just sitting in your drink or, um. Right. Public service announcement. Don't actually put it in your butt. It's because that might happen. You can. Just don't put it in your butt after you put it in your whiskey. No, Danny did not do that. I'm just saying. Or don't. Don't. What if it broke right away? You're going to be being cold in your ass for quite a while. Until it melts. I know. I mean, I guess. It's not going to be permit harm, but that is. I mean, I don't know.

[00:10:04] I don't know. Just don't do it. It'll melt eventually. I mean, I guess do it if you want to, but I'm not recommending it. Don't sue us. Yeah. Put it in your drink, though, for sure. Yes. Drink pairing. Yes. So I found this drink called Purple Rain. Mm-hmm. Obviously by Prince. Purple Rain. Purple Rain. Yes. Mm-hmm. Because we're from Minnesota. Yeah.

[00:10:31] And Prince is a fucking sexual music icon. Absolutely. Yes. Yes. He is my height. Was my height. Mm-hmm. And didn't matter. And he's very androgynous. And he would steal any woman. Yes. Oh, for sure. Yes. Yes. Not that he did, but he could. Oh, you were- So he was just a beautiful human being in general. Absolutely.

[00:10:54] So the night that he passed away, RIP, in Minneapolis, we, Danny and I went to First Avenue. Mm-hmm. And the city of Minneapolis granted First Avenue to be open until like four or five in the morning. Oh, yeah. It was really late. I thought it was like all night. Yep. I think it was really, it might have been later than that, but yeah. We were there. We were able to make it inside, inside the club. And the whole streets were just crowded. Mm-hmm.

[00:11:22] And everybody was singing, purple rain, purple rain. And there was like a sunset. The sunset was purple that night. It was, oh my God. Mm-hmm. I know. It's just crazy. Yeah. And that's the kind of person he was. He had such an effect on humanity. His music was so, so compelling. Yes. That it brought people together like that. Mm-hmm. He was such a good human. Absolutely. He wanted people to love each other.

[00:11:48] And so, of course, the city was like, yeah, let's throw a party in his honor. He's from here. Because he's an amazing human being. Yeah. So that's our drink pairing today. Mm-hmm. And what's in it, the recipe is vodka, blue carousel, cranberry juice, grenadine, lemon-lime soda, lemon juice, and simple syrup, and a pop-plug ice cube. Yes. Just for shits and giggles. Yeah. Prince would have wanted it that way. I'm pretty sure.

[00:12:19] I'm pretty sure. Prince. Yeah. Clink and drink to him. All right. So, our snack pairing. Yeah. I'm nervous or excited for this. Yeah. We did have a discussion on if we should do this before, after the show, you know, or during. And we thought for a second. And I said, during. Yep. You know, just wing it. Yep. Yep. So, here we go. Probably, yeah?

[00:12:49] Do you want to explain what it is? Sure. So, it's called Tasty Sounds as an Audio Lollipop? Yeah. So, you press a button, and it's a lollipop you put in your mouth, and when you press a button, you can only hear the music in your head? Yeah. So, I think maybe what we do is one of us tries it while the other one describes the look on your face. All right. Hold the button. Maybe we take a video? Sure. Let's do it. Okay. You want to put it in your mouth, or are you going to put it in my mouth? Oh, dear. All right.

[00:13:19] All right. I'm holding it down. Okay. I'm going to take a video here. Oh, I can feel it already. Oh. Oh, you can feel it. Oh, it vibrates. Oh. Okay. So, she's put it in her mouth. Don't worry. I've got a video. Oh, and she looks like she's just had the most miraculous thing put in her mouth. Sorry, Dani. Oh, my God. It works. Okay. Give me. Give me. Give me. Here. Switch. Switch. Switch. Oh, my God. Switch. Click. Click. Click. Here you go. It's still going. Still going. Just put it in your mouth and put it on your teeth. Can you hear it?

[00:13:49] Can you hear it? See? Isn't that weird? I cannot hear it, but you can. So, it's a lollipop. Only the person licking it and sucking on it can do it in their head. It blows my mind. We're still doing it. We're too freaked out. She's like vibing out. It's a lollipop on your mouth. That is so cool. That is so cool. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Okay.

[00:14:18] All right. So, you can't hear it when I'm doing it, right? That was crazy. Yes. No, I couldn't hear it, but I closed my ears because. Okay. That is so cool. Because then I could hear it more loudly. All right. I'm going to stop the video. Yeah. I'm going to turn it off. It says there's like 60 songs. Yeah. We're going to have a long time with this later. Oh, yeah. We are. Yep. Interesting. That's a long time. Oh, yeah. Eve. You don't. Yeah. I don't know how to turn it off.

[00:14:47] I think you double clicked it to stop. Double click. Double click the mouse. Remember we were making that joke? Yep. You were right. I double clicked it and it worked. Yeah. Nice. Always works. Okay. Okay. Just double click the mouse. All right. That was awesome. That was so cool. I've been waiting for this for so long. I ordered like two weeks ago and I've been like super excited to try it. Oh, my gosh. That was so much fun. Woo. It worked. Okay. It was funny. Okay. It was weird. It was like my own little. It was like.

[00:15:17] Okay. Like a silent disco. Yes. Yes. Which you did. Yeah. I did. Yeah. I've actually DJed three silent discos in the last month. I've never done one before. Oh, man. I've always wanted to attend one. I think they sound fun. Yeah. The one that Dance Agenda did in the Wabasha Caves. That one was. That was pretty fun. That sounds cool. Yeah. It was like a thousand people in there. Oh, yeah. Fun. It was, you know, not to shoot my own horn, but there was a, I was on the blue stage and

[00:15:46] there was like five people. There's different colors. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So there was three different colors for this one. There was green, blue and red. You switch the headphones, your own headphones as a listener in the, in the party. Exactly. To whichever channel you want to listen to. You got it. To whichever DJ you want to listen to. Yeah. Okay. Mm hmm. Yes. Nice. All right. Well, should we do some fun facts? Yeah. Fun Fetty. Let's go. That was fun. That was. All right. Let's go on. All right.

[00:16:16] Do you want to go first? Oh man. Yeah. Well, I've got a lot. Let's go back and forth. Let's go back and forth on this one. So. All right. I'm just going to go with the first one that's on my list. Sure. So. So fun facts about this one. So sound and rhythm can physically affect the body. Obviously we know that. Mm hmm. So deep bass frequencies, they stimulate the nervous system and can literally raise your heart rate, adrenaline and physical arousal. Oh yeah. Yes.

[00:16:45] So that's one that maybe some people know, maybe don't. But the deep bass, you know, you get the bass face and that like people want more bass. That's why you're just like, yeah, that's a song. Exactly. Let me see your bass face. Well, there you go. You know, you can get physically aroused from the bass. I do let go of a lot of this in psychology. So don't get too much into all of that. Yeah. Yeah. Um, okay. Ready? Mm hmm. What's the weirdest song you've ever had sex to?

[00:17:16] Uh, I haven't had sex with a ton of songs that were weird. I'll be honest. I think I already shared this story on here. Yeah. But Macy Gray. Yeah. Macy. I try to say goodbye. No. Only because we couldn't get up because we were having sex. So we couldn't get up and change it. Like on the stereo. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It was so weird. I think the most fun. Do not recommend. No. That's, that's, that's, yes. That's a fun fact about you. Uh huh.

[00:17:47] Yeah. Nice. Okay. So, um, so vinyl. You're familiar, obviously, with that wax scratching, whatever. So vinyl scratching, microphone distortion, and feedback, as well as mechanical sounds become for, have, um, became fertilized in some subcultures because they felt raw, aggressive, and physically immersive. Oh. So some people get turned on by the sound of scratching or distortion. Okay.

[00:18:16] Which I found is a very interesting fun fact because I think that that sounds like nails on a chalkboard. That is a very, no, you're, you're right. That it's, oh my God. Very interesting funfetti. Now I'm never going to listen to it the same way again. I'm never going to listen to it again, probably, because, no, I'm just kidding. Turn off. Well, you know, I just, when something sounds like it's wrong, it just, I mean, vinyl scratching is fine. That's different.

[00:18:42] That's, can, you can add to the sound with that, but like distorted bass and stuff that sounds like it's made incorrectly hurts my ears. I get what you're saying. Yeah. But I wonder if people get turned on by it because of the finger technique. Yeah. Oh, good call. So it's like, it's like a guy who's, or woman, whatever, who's good at a guitar. Or the bass. Like, yeah. The bass guitar. Okay.

[00:19:11] See, but that's not distortion. They're good with their fingers. Yeah, exactly. So they're good with their hands. Mm-hmm. The distortion and feedback, though, like that sound when you know, like that's what this is talking about, the stuff that's not correct. Gotcha. Like if you walk with your microphone in front of the speakers. Yeah. I don't know not to do that. And then all of a sudden everything gets this feedback. Some people are turned on by that noise. Oh, God. Oh, God. No. No, thank you. What do you got next?

[00:19:41] So the song Summer of 69 by Bryan Adams. Mm-hmm. So he revealed in interviews that this nostalgic anthem isn't actually about the year 1969. It's about the position. Mm-hmm. Woo! That's a fun fact. Yeah. Oh. There's some funfetti, yeah. Oh. Well, all righty then. I'm never going to listen to that song the same again.

[00:20:09] And I'm actually going to share that with Mike because we were making jokes about Bryan Adams the other day. Oh, yeah. And the reason why is because he didn't really know who he was. Okay. He didn't know that he had like a song that there was he had an EDM song that was popular. His voice. I don't know if you knew that or not. I did not know this. I'll play it for you later. Okay. All right. So, okay. Go ahead. Let's see.

[00:20:39] Oh, man. I like this one. So, classical music. Do you like classical music? I do. Yeah. Okay. Well, classical music has its own central history too. So, composers like Richard Wagner became associated with overwhelming emotional intensity, obsession, and theatrical seduction. So, classical music in and of itself has its roots in kinky shit. Okay. In and of itself. So, that was an example of that.

[00:21:07] Which is very interesting because you don't think of classical music that way. Right. I don't. Right. Isn't that interesting? I always think classical music is like crazy serial killers. Like, they romanticize it and I don't know. Hmm. Yeah. No, I'm thinking like. Like Dexter. Like Dexter. Oh, Dexter and classical music. Okay. Well, I really love Dexter. I really love classical music. Thanks for that. Katie.

[00:21:35] On the same spectrum, the original meaning of rock and roll. So, from the 50s, like the phrase rocking and rolling was originally a euphemism used by sailors to describe a rocking ship, which evolved into a mainstream slang term for sexual intercourse. Like, the vans are rocking, don't come a knocking. Exactly. So, like, that's where rock and roll comes from. Yeah. Yeah. And the rolling of the waves. Uh-huh. Yeah. Yes. That too. Yeah.

[00:22:05] Interesting. I didn't know that. Me neither. I always wondered that, actually. You would have thought. I would have thought I would have looked it up by now, but. I always thought rock and roll meant like drums and like, you know, that's. But, no, that's where it came from. Yeah. Got it. Okay. So, this one is interesting because it's very close to our heart. Okay. So, some kink events. Uh-huh. Week of kink, potentially. Yes. So, things like that.

[00:22:30] They actually employ DJs that specifically are trained to build quote unquote scenes that are specifically meant to have the tempo and progression invoke a sexual feeling through sonic tension. So, kink of the week is a. Week of kink, yeah. Week of kink, I'm sorry. Yeah. It's a convention. Down in Florida, yeah. Yeah. So, you're saying that they're hiring DJs to invoke like a.

[00:23:00] Yeah, specifically to build a scene like, you know. A feeling. Yeah. As a DJ, a lot of times you're building a story or you want to create a certain feeling. You're reading the crowd. So, these DJs will come in specifically with music to create that type of feeling. So, by the end of it, everybody's basically got a boner and ready to leave. Yeah. When in Rome. Yeah. I don't know if they do it at that one or not. When in Bone. When in Bone. Exactly. Love it. I know, right? Wow.

[00:23:30] Shout out to them. Mm-hmm. The song She Bop by Cyndi Lauper. Mm-hmm. The 1980s hit, it's not about dancing. Ooh. It's about unapologetic song about female masturbation. Yes. She Bop. So, like, double clink the mouse, but bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop.

[00:24:00] Oh no. What have I done? Oh God. Oh man. Should we move on to history? Yeah, let's do it. I think that's a really good one to end on I'll take it away No No no okay So let's get into this I do want to say I hope you're going to get into Like mating rituals Musically I don't know if you do or don't but

[00:24:30] You know there's it's kind of all over the place Yeah go for it but yes that's definitely A part of it because We're going to start with ancient civilizations Obviously because music is old old old Right yeah so you know Music is Older than written word I mean because It's one of the ways that we have Been able to come together as a species Is through sound So think like 3000 BCE To 500 CE

[00:24:58] Okay so drums, dancing Divine desire these are the things that we're Talking about so Before playlists and club nights So music was already Deeply deeply deeply tied to Sensituality ritual and physical connection So ancient color Cultures in Egypt, Greece and Rome India, Mesopotamia All use music And rhythmic movement Infertility rituals Yeah Celebrations And also obviously like religious ceremonies Things like that

[00:25:27] So it's a huge part of culture In ancient times Drumming Chanting Flutes Dancing Were all believed To alter emotional and physical states Now we know today That they absolutely do But obviously they didn't have the science Behind it back then So in some traditions Music wasn't just entertainment It was considered a pathway To ecstasy Trance And intimacy Okay So the rhythm The rhythm

[00:25:56] Is really spiritually important During this time So So everybody's sweating together One thing that comes to mind for me If you want to think about it Maybe not as big a crowd But I'm sure you've seen The Matrix Yep Okay And It's in the second one Where they are in In Underground And they throw a party After Neo And Trinity get back And everybody's rhythmically dancing Yeah Right And it is hot And sweaty Yeah

[00:26:26] And that's what they're doing Is they're like Let's celebrate And let's all get busy So it's essentially Something like that But not You know Not in the Matrix Alright So moving into The medieval period So 500 to 1400 We're talking So courtship In a minor key Essentially If we talk about it In terms of music Public morality Tightened But music remained One of the safest Socially acceptable ways To flirt So you think back

[00:26:55] To previous episodes A lot of times Things go up and down And up and down And things are all over the place Music has always been Very important In this regard Yeah Yeah It's just Music is what has Is one of the things That has kept Can I have this dance Yes Exactly Simple as that Right It is extremely important So traveling musicians And troubadours Sang about longing Temptation And forbidden love Lutes Harps And poetry Created emotional Intimacy

[00:27:25] Long before Anyone was Anyone was texting In the middle of the night Like hey you up Right What you doing Yeah hey What's up You up Although hey Pro tip If you're gonna send You up Maybe send it With a sexy song Yeah I would Thinking about it I would definitely Respond to a song Rather than Yeah What is it W.I.D. Question mark What you doing Question mark Yeah exactly I'm gonna be like I'm gonna not respond Even if I see it And then I'm sleeping How about Come out to my lawn

[00:27:55] With a boombox And a sexy song To my window Exactly Fuck yeah Yeah What was the name That movie That would swoon me I can't remember The name that movie Was in There's so many Yeah well there was That was The original Was from the 80s movie Yes What's his name Something Anyway whatever We'll look it up But that would get me More than What you doing Yeah What you doing Come to my yard Boombox To my window Scream and singing Yeah A love song Do it

[00:28:24] I mean even You could even play You know baby shark And I'd be more likely To listen to that Leave me a voicemail Of a sexy song Anything Let's do that For Danny and Mike After this Oh cute Yeah Oh for cute Yes Oh for cute We're so Minnesotan Except I'm not But I grew up in Texas But yeah I live here now The Midwest is fuck Yeah Midwest is fuck Don't you know Alright So You know what I should do Actually

[00:28:54] Side note I almost said Side quest Sometime I should just do The entire episode With my Texas accent Bring it in Oh god I love it Anyway Okay so Music really became Coded with seduction During this time So romantic on the surface But suggestive underneath This just makes me hot Just thinking about it So So you know People would say things like Hey I compose this ballad In your honor Oh I know right Alright

[00:29:24] So sir So that is just That is some absolute Emotional foreplay Right there Yeah Okay so let's talk About Renaissance I already I mean we already Kind of touched on this With classical music But It's Performance Becomes a part Of the seduction As well With the music Yeah So as art And culture Expanded Music became More theatrical Expressive And emotionally charged I tell you I'm gonna interrupt you Real quick Yeah

[00:29:54] I tell you When I am like Doom scrolling on TikTok And I see like the Um When the guys like are Playing the piano And they like propose And like I'm I'm It's waterworks over here I know it's so sweet I'm like Oh my god Put some thought into it Yeah You know Yes It's like When somebody does something Like that And they They think enough About you And what you would like To make a song

[00:30:23] And make some Some sort of event Out of whatever it is Yeah You know Whether it's on TikTok or not Or it's on the internet or not I mean I'm glad we can see it But like Danny just proposed to me In a snowbank In a restaurant parking lot But that's I loved it still Hey That was in snow And guess what That's more than That's more than I still cried Yeah I love No I love it He was standing in the snowbank Or what Cause there Was it snowing Okay I can already imagine it Do you want me to tell the story Real quick

[00:30:52] Yeah just tell it Just take a little break So he He went to An anniversary dinner Yes Anniversary And he was like It was a crowded restaurant And the tables were so close together And he was acting super weird Yeah I'm like What What's going on And like He's like There's In his head He told me later He was like There's no place to propose There's not enough room He didn't know what to do I was like Why is he acting so weird Cause I didn't know What was going on Yeah And like We got out to the car It was February Yeah

[00:31:22] In Minnesota Okay Oh yeah That's perfect Perfect weather For outside Yeah We parked like Against a snowbank In the parking lot And he's like It was also a crowded Parking lot of cars And he's like I don't know what else He just did it And he's like He opened the door for me The car door And he's like I got something to ask you I'm like What? And like He like Bent over in the snowbank On his knee Honestly It was

[00:31:51] That's so cute I loved it It was honestly The cutest thing ever He was so nervous And he was so just like This is it I'm doing it Let's go You know what If you're bending over In a fucking Minnesota Snowbank to propose That's a fucking man Straight up He's like You know what Fuck it Let's go outside The coldest weather And kneel down in the snow Were there snowflakes coming down? Yes That's so much better That's how I know I got a good one I was like

[00:32:21] What? You knelt down in the fucking snow In Minnesota For me I'm trying to paint the picture In my mind It was so cute Was there like light Was it dark out And there was like light Coming through From a street light Or something Yes Yes Yes I can see it So romantic It was so cute Oh my god That's a man Yeah that is He made it happen In the worst snowy Minnesota conditions ever He did it You know what that is? That's the perfect scene

[00:32:50] Inside of a snow globe Oh Alright So now I know What I have to get you For one of your Reincersories I don't know Where I'm going to find it But I'll figure it out Alright So When I die I want my ashes To be in a snow globe So there you go Okay That's dark It'll be you Getting proposed to In your own ashes Yes Okay Love it Okay Sounds good So back to the renaissance Noted So art and culture

[00:33:20] Expanding Lotta lotta Whatever Alright So opera exploded Across Europe During this time As you know So blending Dramatic vocals Romance Costumes And sensual Storytelling Like I just love This period of history It's so beautiful I love going to Renfest All of that Yeah Because of all this So dance halls And royal courts Use music to encourage Physical interaction So much So much Yeah Composers intentionally Use the tempo

[00:33:50] And harmony To evoke tension Excitement And release So we start to Really Like again Like the science Behind music Keeps building And building And building Like nowadays We know so much About it Right But like people Are really trying To get this This going Without the Help of technology Or AI To figure out These things Right Which is beautiful Because it's just Naturally happening We're not using AI To make these Beautiful things happen

[00:34:19] So this piece So things You could say Things like this piece Evokes passion And yearning For example Yeah So basically This is when the Original slow jam Started I know right We all love a good Slow jam Oh yeah Like They were really Locked in Oh they were Locked in Yeah But Oh man But it just Keeps getting better So now we're going To the Victorian period So the 1800s To the 1900s So people were Really repressed

[00:34:48] On the outside But really horny On the inside Horny at the piano If you will Okay So Victorian society Loved pretending That sexuality Didn't exist While accidentally Making everything Incredibly suggestive Musically It's so beautiful I just love this So playing piano Was considered Attractive Refined And desirable Yeah So Think about A sexy man At a piano Sexy woman

[00:35:18] At a piano Sexy person Anybody sexy Playing the piano And just looking At you Suggestively Right They're really Using their fingers Good eh Like come on I don't even I have no words I know I think we need To take a break And like I need to go Leave and go Watch somebody Play the piano Right now Field trip Yeah field trip All jokes aside Though The piano Is so beautiful It is such A seductive Instrument

[00:35:47] So parlor music Created socially Acceptable Intimacy Because of the Dim lighting The emotional Songs that Were being created Lingering eye Contact Yeah Right Just the Maybe it's just me But they're just Fucking smart And know how to Play the fucking Piano Yeah Well also Also the Dexterity Yeah And you know Because you Not only that You have to use Your hands On your feet You have to Have the

[00:36:16] Dexterity Right I can't play The piano Because there's There's people That have this Thing I don't know What it's called I forgot What it's called But my Two These two Fingers Cannot move Without the Other So I can't I grew up Playing piano And the drum set Yeah Yeah So for those Of you listening The two fingers My pinky finger And the one next to it Like they move together They cannot Move separately Yeah they can't Move separately And I have to Hold my other Fingers to even Like get them To move That way at all Anyways

[00:36:46] Okay Yeah Well So anyway Moving on You know It just means I have to use All my fingers At once Yep Or something You know Hey So It all works Yeah exactly Whatever works So certain dances Were criticized For being Too simulating Too So that obviously Made people Want them more Right So the ones Oh that's too stimulating That's so You know That's so Fanning yourself

[00:37:16] Exactly So you know So the idea Was that we must Preserve modesty But clearly We're not We're trying to Get around it Trying to court Somebody Yeah exactly Someone's fainting Because their ankles And their violins Beared Beared simultaneously Right It's like Okay So So then we were Moving into The early 20th century Now this is fun Because this is when So this is like 1900 to 1960 So jazz swing

[00:37:45] Jazz and swing music Right Yes So I think the 20s The flapper girls Oh yeah Right We're getting real kinky In here I love it It's a moral panic If you will Love it So music starts Getting openly blamed For making people God forbid Oh no We're too excited Having too much fun On the dance floor They're getting horny They're getting horny Right Exactly Oh no I feel like You know

[00:38:14] Like the whole rave scene Sometimes gets a bad rap Oh you just Are up all night And da da da Yeah Oh I'm so sorry That I'm dancing For 14 hours straight And feeling really healthy Because I just Burned a whole lot of calories And just worked off All of my stress Boo hoo Just the mental Like feelings After like dancing For so many hours Come home And I'm horny as fuck I feel really good Not gonna lie Yes Exactly Music does a good thing

[00:38:44] For the brain And the sexual Exactly Playing music Exactly I'm just like Let's go You know I feel like I can conquer the world Yes So this is the same Kind of thing That's happening During this time It's getting a bad rap For being Oh you're getting Too excited Oh god Oh no So jazz clubs Became associated With rebellion Sensuality Nightlife And liberation Oh no The harm Back in the day raves Yes Exactly That's exactly right

[00:39:13] So this is kind of Some of the swings Some of the swings Some of the swings Some of the swingers Of Okay Some of the beginnings Of Of that type of thing You know After hours Parties Underground parties Just very Might be having Too much fun Calm down Well calm down Right Prohibition is gonna happen During this time period So swing dancing Introduced faster rhythms Too So closer body contact And more expressive movement Yes Which we see so much of

[00:39:43] Like the music That we're listening to Drum bass It's 174pm Yeah Right It's very fast Yep So this is when Some of this stuff Starts to get faster Rock and roll Like you talked about earlier Arrived Yeah And parents everywhere Collectively panicked Everywhere This was like Oh no So the music Is essentially corrupting Satanic panic Yeah Satanic panic So the baseline Is working Essentially Let's go Let's keep going Right It's working Alright It's so working So then

[00:40:13] Take talking About the later 20th century So 1960 to 1990 So more You know Headphones Nightclubs Sonic identity That type of thing Music stopped Being background noise And became part Of personal identity And desire So especially If you're thinking In the 80s All of the Neon color Like your identity Was very much Attached to music In that time period Yeah So disco And nightclub culture Turned sound systems Lights

[00:40:42] Rhythm And bodies Into immersive Experiences Okay Yes So The disco era Yes In the 70s Exactly That would have been fun We've been so much fun Right Yeah But it still lives on today It does There's a whole song About it actually Like disco will never die You know So So genres like Funk Industrial Goth Metal House And electronic music Developed strong Sensual And fetish

[00:41:12] Adjacent Subcultures Can I interrupt you real quick Absolutely I already assumed That you would I do have a note About this So I do not believe In music Shaming these days Absolutely not Music saves Fucking lives I don't care What you listen to Yeah I like it all Yeah I'm not gonna lie Do I like country sometimes Yes Do I like rap sometimes Yes Do I like R&B sometimes Yes Pop Happy hardcore Drum and bass

[00:41:42] I have House music Trance music I like it all Yeah There's a different mood For different like And don't music shame Anybody ever Because it saves Their fucking lives Yes And there's no shame in it I 100% agree with that Listen to what you want To listen to Yeah It will make you happy And then as part of What this whole episode Is about It will make you happy It will make you And when you're happy You feel sexual And There you go Thank you Katie That is a very good Point To add on to that Yes

[00:42:12] A lot of times You know Some people like to Rip on dubstep And I People rip on everything Yeah But I think But don't do it I know There's a lot of that These days I think And I'm like I just I don't mean It's not for me I don't necessarily I listen to I like some of it But I don't think There's anything wrong With somebody else Listening to that And going and headbanging To that crazy stuff Yeah Right If that makes you happy Go do it Yes It's not my problem That you have a problem With somebody's music

[00:42:41] I don't want that in my life Does it spark something in you? Yeah That's all that matters Right Exactly If somebody likes house music And you don't So what? Yeah So what? If somebody likes country music And you don't So what? I recently got into country music I hate country music It's not my name Well okay I hated it before too But I realized Throughout the years I realized I only hated the people That liked country music Ah No I just don't like Country music No I do like it Yeah

[00:43:10] I do like country music But I don't like Typically the people That like country music Yeah But there are There is still a good There's still a good crowd That likes country music That are good people And I do I enjoy it Yeah You'd be surprised Who likes country music There's like There's actually Something that I saw On TikTok recently There is a new trend It's goth Country line Dancing Oh no Oh no It's adorable They're goth country girls now

[00:43:39] And they look adorable They're having the time of their life Line dancing Looking like a goth cowgirl And they're fucking adorable And I love it Okay I'll show you after You're gonna have to It's adorable It's so cute And they're so hot Like oh my god That is mixing something I love and hate together I don't know how to feel about it I'll show you You're gonna love it They're like these goth country girls And I'm like Oh my god Yes girls Get it They're so cute

[00:44:09] If y'all could see the look on my face Right now I'll show you after I'll show you after It's so cute I love it But I'm gonna stick with what I just said Keep going Don't hate on people for what makes them happy Yeah Even though that one makes me sad But it's This will not make you sad when I show you Okay I promise Okay I'm already imagining in my head You go country goth girls Let's get it Alright Okay So moving back into what we're talking about here Okay so again Back to the 20th century Here 60s to the 90s

[00:44:38] So people became Or began associating Specific sounds and frequencies With arousal Power Submission Escape Or emotional intensity So you can think about A lot of the ways that people do that nowadays Certain sounds Will evoke certain emotion for you And we know that So this is where we really started to get into it So So as we move into the 2000s to 2010s This is when we talk about playlists So we start to get into technology

[00:45:06] So playlists really started to become more of like a foreplay So this is like after the induction of the mixtape Right So that would have been more in the last period Cute Yeah right So MP Making a mixtape for some I know Never do I mean that was like Totally like a junior high High school thing for me In the like 90s Yeah How many viruses It got in our family computer From LimeWire Like Oh See

[00:45:36] I was I was I was in the smart kids school Where we knew that that would happen So I never had that happen Fortunately I was not But I was talking about mixtapes Like actually on a tape Oh yeah You did like Listen on the radio And wait And wait and record To a cassette What Yes One time I called into a radio station And I said Cause Oh god It's so embarrassing Oh did you go ask for a song I did Oh my god Yeah And I told the DJ

[00:46:06] I was like Can I be on the radio And he's like Yes I'm like cool And I'm like He's like Okay Here's what you do Put your radio or boombox on the floor Uh huh And then step on top of your radio And now you're on the radio I'm like Shut up Oh my god That is so hilarious I was like 10 years old The original troll Oh my god You jerk Wow That's so funny I would not I want to know who that guy is The original troll DJ I love trolling people

[00:46:36] When I'm playing music Like dropping something random Like you know Never gonna give you But anyways That's funny Go on Yeah So So mp3 players Streaming Personalization of playlists Made music deeply individual And more emotionally curated So we're getting really Really technical With this stuff So people openly talked about Songs that turn them on Mmhmm Okay We even had a little discussion About that earlier today Right on the show We're talking about

[00:47:06] Hey what was the weirdest song That you had sex to Yep So um So songs that So we're talking about Like gym playlists too Strip tease tracks So dancers might have Their specific songs That they play at the strip club Yeah Which invoke a certain feeling Very specific Mmhmm And sensory experiences Were tied to all of this So you want a certain experience You're going for a certain song Yep

[00:47:34] If I'm sad And I want to feel Feel out the sad I have a playlist That I go to for that I actually call it Songs on repeat You know Because I'm like I need to work it out And that's a thing It's different than a kink But But I listen to certain songs Because Listening to sad songs When you're sad Actually makes you happy Yeah Because you're relating To something else The psychology behind it Yeah Totally Totally So this is the same way Yeah Shall I move on to psychology Oh I'm almost done Okay

[00:48:04] So ASMR Bass heavy music Yep Biannual Or bi I can't say that word Anyways Audio And rave culture Pushed the connection Between sound And physical sensation Even further Mmhmm So Moving on to modern day Today What are we talking about So sensory experience Audio intimacy This is very deep So now we fully understand That music affects the body Not just the ears People explore music

[00:48:33] As a part of sensory play Emotional regulation Like I just mentioned Intimacy Dominance Submission Dynamics Dance culture Immersive nightlife So everything It's so critical In almost everyday life With everything So it's like Every single part Of your day Is a music kink Should I jump into Psychology Because it's like The perfect segue I mean if you want to There's a couple other Little sentences They're not that Important I guess

[00:49:02] I feel like Go for it Good segue Yeah Absolutely Jump in It's a dopamine release Yes 100% Your favorite songs Can trigger dopamine And the same reward Chemical involved in sex Attraction Yeah Food and addictive behaviors Like the same rush Like Mmhmm Become linked with Erotic feelings Yeah So it's like A sensory stimulation Like the deep bass Like you said Vibrations Yeah Moaning vocals Yes

[00:49:33] Which is something I've made a couple tracks With this on For sure With me making Moaning noises So Which is something I didn't really realize Was a thing I mean it's Obviously a thing But I didn't realize it Until like Doing research for this Like there are So many moaning vocals There really Really are Yeah Um Whispering Yeah Like moaning Like repetitive Beats Like Yeah It can physically Affect your body

[00:50:03] And your nervous system Mmhmm In a way that feels Intimate and stimulating Yeah Stimulating Mmhmm Association And conditioning Mmhmm If someone had Meaningful romantic Or sexual experiences Connected to music Early on The brain May permanently Connect certain Genres Or artists Or sounds With arousal Mmhmm So if you had A certain experience With a certain song Sexually It's gonna continuously Be like

[00:50:32] Sexual experience For you Every time You hear that song So Back to your question Earlier about The movie song Yeah So read by Chevelle Okay I When I used to work In Eden Prairie Mall Okay And I was working At a certain store And his store Was right across Not gonna name the stores Okay I was the GM Of one store He was the GM Of the other one And we dated for a while But we banged to that song And I can never Get it out of my head What I remember It every single time

[00:51:02] As if it were yesterday That experience It pinpoints It stucks in your head Right? It is stuck in my head Yeah It's never gonna Yeah Yeah Anyways That was it Escapism and fantasy Like music creates Atmosphere And emotional worlds Mmhmm Like some people Become aroused By the fantasy Mood Or identity For the music Or the song Yeah You're never gonna forget it Mmhmm It just gets stuck In your head Yeah

[00:51:31] Yeah it does Now I can't think Of anything else Besides that Oh god Oh god Well okay I'll change the subject A little bit Okay cool Specific instruments Mmhmm Guitar Violin Saxophone All of them have like Deep bass Like vibrations Voices Or accents Lyrical themes Like There's so many Romance things And sexual things

[00:52:01] That just get Embedded into your Memories And In your mind Mmhmm Psychologically That's just how it works Yeah And also dancing Gets involved Dancing or movement Mmhmm Um Like jazz Rave music Ambient music Industrial Goth music Metal All of them Have different Sexual Ways In the bedroom Mmhmm They all do Yeah

[00:52:31] Metal is very Sexual to me Yeah Okay Which Most people Like think that's weird But No I don't think It's weird I don't think it's weird At all Yeah Tells us a lot About what you like Yeah Apparently I like Rough stuff There you go Let's see Emotional intensity Yep That's what we talked About Yeah Talk more about

[00:53:01] That though Oh god Cause I mean I don't know If we got Intense enough With the emotional Intensity Music Activates Emotional Centers In the brain Tied to Pleasure Nostalgia Longing And excitement For some people Those feelings Are naturally But in the Attraction And arousal In the bedroom Mmhmm It all just Connects It's a weird Network In our brain With music And sex Yeah If I could Interpre for one Second One thing that Happens to me This is

[00:53:30] Every single Day I wake up With a different Song in my head Okay Every day I always have Music playing In my head 24 hours a day Fun fact But That's what That makes me Think of that Because I'm like What is my brain Thinking about Or what am I Dreaming about Where I have Happy birthday Playing On repeat When I wake up So Okay Anyways That was my Side quest No I love that Because My next note Is Have you ever Just wanted to Dance sexually When you hear A certain song Come on

[00:54:00] Absolutely Yeah When a certain Song comes on Like sometimes I'm just like I can't help My body It just I just Naturally Comes It just Does it Naturally Come Sometimes Oh my god That was the Best quote Of the entire Session Pinpoint that Yes What is the Time stamp We were at 5404 5404 Noted

[00:54:30] Sometimes The music Just naturally Makes you Want to Come to it Okay Power and Surrender Dynamics Yep Certain music Styles Can psychologically Feel dominant Hypnotic Chaotic Emotional Or seductive Yeah Which can Connect with Other kinks Or emotional Needs Different people Are turned on By different Aspects

[00:54:59] Yeah we talked About guitars Bass Different voices Yeah so Different vocals Yeah Different music Like some Are very annoying Some are not Some are beautiful And sexy And whatever I just went to Backstreet Boys I know you did Get out of here With that Oh Yeah Oh honey Oh man When we get to Songs I gotta get one

[00:55:29] Yeah I don't think I need to say Anything more I don't think You do I thought you Talked about it Enough Alright Common practices We did talk About strippers Yes Yeah Briefly Burlesque Yes I've been to Actually you know What I did go to A burlesque show With Mike recently Yeah How'd it go I forgot what It was called But it doesn't Really matter It was something About It was like It was a nightmare On elm street Type of theme It was like a Horror theme Thanks for the Invite

[00:55:59] Oh that was just A me and Mike Thing I wasn't inviting Anybody to that I'd have to look Up the name But anyways Oh it was very hot And they were Dressed up like All the different They were dressed As different Characters from Horror movies And the music Was impeccable The dancing Was impeccable And my Favorite part Was the girl Dancing in the Giant martini glass

[00:56:28] In water Yes I want Oh my god And I was like Girl We could leave now With our With our logo It's a girl In a martini glass I know We need to see This We should Well it It was It's like a It's just Just like a One scene Oh my god Yeah Fuck it And it wasn't Yeah that wasn't It wasn't necessarily Always a part of the show Or whatever I mean they've got That ton of different stuff But I was like Oh my god This is so great It was so so great That girl Swimming around

[00:56:58] In that martini glass Oh man Living her best life She was living her best life Goals Oh yeah Oh it was just That's why I chose that For a logo I'm like that looks great It was It was just amazing So But the music As a DJ I'm like That's gotta be on point Yeah For something like that And they did it Masterfully It was great The next point Is that groupies Yeah Does Danny have any groupies?

[00:57:28] Me? Besides you? I mean obviously I don't know I don't think so I don't like to call My peeps groupies Cause I feel like That has a bad connotation It's more like a Or like your fans People that love you But you know what I'm saying I do I do Or they get so turned on By their music Or they just wanna fuck him Yeah Yeah totally I mean whatever That means you make Good fucking music Yeah When I'm playing music I've been accused of Fucking the dicks No But you know Whatever That's how I keep the beat Fucking the dicks Unfortunately

[00:57:57] It's just how my hips work Unfortunately Fortunately She said fucking the dicks Not the dicks Right? Yes You hear what you wanna hear Yeah Alright let's see Violins I love the violin Mmhmm I do wanna I wanted I wanted to play the violin Me too But we were poor Too poor No Listen I looked into it Cause I truly wanna try The violin Yeah

[00:58:25] And so you can Rent one from the library Uh huh I might try it Mmhmm I think it sounds cool Do it Yeah Do it I'm here for it Absolutely Yeah So have you ever Witnessed people Getting intimate At a concert Or a music festival Or at a rave In public Yes Myself Oh Okay I have such a great story I'm waiting for Go for it Well I'll save it for when

[00:58:55] When I get to the song I was just opening The floor I mean I could just say it now Sure I was opening the floor For conversation Excellent So go for it Okay good Cause I've just been like Sitting here staring at Somebody on my nose Okay So I You know Mike loves to tell this story Mmhmm I like to add the The To go see Nine Inch Nails Yes Okay Which was an amazing show And I danced

[00:59:25] The entire time And Of course They He played Closer And it was With With Boy's Noise Which has now become A duo Nine Inch Noise So Boy's Noise Was Live Playing like the sounds And what not For the song Closer While Trent Reznor Is singing And it was Magical And And Of course I'm dancing with Mike Through the entire show But especially during this song

[00:59:54] So we tell this story Yeah And then of course I'm like yeah Yeah yeah Mike had a A four A four hour boner God But that's what he told me So then I just Add that to the story Um After he's done telling it Oh god But That music Is just So sexy It is Their music Is Beautiful I love it When we go for music That is on my list Yes Yeah So that was

[01:00:24] 100% Yeah yeah So I wanna fuck you Like an animal Yeah exactly Come on So Oh god My next note I don't even want to say Oh So experiences About festivals Or concerts And having sex Mmhmm My note is I will not share My experience For privacy Of myself And the other lady I don't remember this Why did I Oh god Uh Well that's a really Great story Moving on Moving on I'm not gonna share this

[01:00:53] Because of Okay Cool Moving on I'm gonna pour myself Another cocktail I can't wait to hear that Story If you remember it I am pouring myself Another cocktail Okay Well while you do that This is less of a Story But I do tend to Apparently it was a good time Yeah I do tend to get Really happy When I'm listening to music And whatever And a lot of my friends Know that I love to kiss My friends Yeah And always with consent

[01:01:23] And permission I'll just walk up And start making out With my friends Like hey can we kiss And so like I think I've kissed Most of my friends Oh yeah Yeah Every time we're done recording We're like bye Bye Yeah But you know Sometimes it gets a little Sexier than that At festivals and shows And whatever Right This is not gonna Necessarily go anywhere But it's almost like Hugging for me Right Showing affection For some people I love That's how Danny And I got together I'm like I always Cuddle with my friends Oh yeah You know who the best Kisser is Is Mike Oh god I love kissing him

[01:01:53] Nice He just kisses in like Instant boner And I'm instantly turned on And it's like Oh my god He kisses so passionately Love that It is so great I love that So Danny does this like I keep telling him Cause like He's a good kisser But he's such a troll He'll do this thing Where he's just like A short little kiss Like he will Purse his lips Like Danny does that He's doing it To mess with you Yeah I'm like give me a real Fucking kisser He's a good kisser But he'll just troll me

[01:02:22] And like Just give me a Dumb little peck And like Stop teasing me Oh my god That's hilarious It's not I'm gonna start doing that too Every time I pick him up From work Or like Or he gets home From work I'm just He's just like Cute little Dumb peck I'm like Yeah Stop teasing me You know what you should do To get him back Is every time we're together And he's around You just make out with me Oh we should Yeah Okay Okay I like this Yes Although he's gonna

[01:02:52] Hear this And then we're giving away Our secrets But it won't matter That'll be part of the troll So But yeah So anyways Yeah Back to that I love kissing my friends When I get happy During music When I see him tonight I'm just Maybe I just won't kiss him at all Yeah No Get out of here No he's an amazing kisser And he knows it That's why he trolls me Yeah So what's next on your list Let's see Music Yeah Oh yeah So I've got a few songs

[01:03:22] So I already talked about Nine Inch Nails Right You can just play any song What Oh god I'm so excited for this Okay Let's hear it Let me bring it up Okay Talk for a minute While I bring it up Okay I'm talking I am telling stories I am talking And I'm talking And we're talking And we're talking What was I talking about I forgot Kissing Oh well actually If we want to talk about a song Oh I got it I got it I got it Okay go ahead

[01:03:51] I think Keep going Nope That's an ad Wow that's a great song Talk about Venmo Here Well I could talk about a song Between me and Mike Oh you got it That is aggressive What is that Okay It'll get there Okay

[01:04:21] I'm into it You've never heard this Nope So clearly We've got a Dommy Over here Wow Wow She's really Goodness Goodness gracious

[01:04:50] I haven't heard that song That crack In ten years It's called Holy moly Oral Exciter I mean I do that to Mike But mostly because I just want him to see my butt Not necessarily But who Shout out to Mr. David Rowan Because I'm hanging out with him Later today After this Yeah And I was asking him I was like Do you have any like Sexual tracks or songs You can think for the episode And he sent me this I'm like Wow We'll listen to the It's a long track Oh yeah So we'll listen to it after

[01:05:20] But it's It's It's something I'm like Oh my god I forgot about that one He's like You're welcome Thank you That's like On the lines of Lords of Acid Which is also Very sexual He's the techno guy So Yeah I love that Alright Let's go back and forth With music What's yours Yeah Okay well I could talk about That song I told you about earlier That song I want to be yours Okay so Yeah So Mike and I You send songs back and forth As you do when you first started dating

[01:05:49] So he sent me this song by Arctic Monkeys And it's called I want to be yours I'm not gonna play it Right Go check it out if you want to It's very easy to explain The entire song Is talking about How this guy wants to be He's comparing himself to inanimate objects Oh right Yeah And how they relate So the first line in the song is I want to be your vacuum cleaner So I can suck up your dust Or some shit like that And I was like Danny would love if I said that to him Yeah Because I hate cleaning Oh my god

[01:18:08] Show I swear Yep And I also kind of Have a love hate Relationship with that Because it's almost Sexualizing And What's the word I'm looking for Like it's You know Making the whole Like Drug scene And being Overdosing All that stuff Like glamorized That's the word I'm looking for Right It's glamorization Of that But If you watch The newest one It's not as much I mean It's It's It's I only got a few

[01:18:37] Episodes in But I totally See what you're saying Yeah Yeah I mean It's It's very Immersive The whole Entire Experience So I wouldn't I wouldn't recommend Letting your kids Watch that show Yeah Even teenagers Because of the Glamorization That I feel like It puts out there But But yeah It's It's very Interesting It's in this Category It is definitely In this category Yep Another one that Not a lot of people Know about Is a show called Since Eight What's that? So it's

[01:19:06] There's only two Seasons I believe And it's a very Cool show So it's a show About these People that develop These extraordinary Abilities There's eight of them So hence the name Of the show I'm not gonna give away The Plot of the show Because it is Very interesting And if I said much It would give it away But there's Club scenes Where it emphasizes A collective sensuality So it's a really Cool way Looking at This particular

[01:19:37] Okay Topic So The other ones are Whatever Those two I just Wanted to go over Quick because they're Pretty interesting You should watch that show If you're into sci-fi You'd love it Yeah I'm gonna add that To my list Yeah it's super cool I got really into it I'm actually really sad It only had Two seasons I hate when that happens I know It was pretty cool It was a very Very cool show So I've got a few other things Like music kink Themes and media But I think we covered All of these I think we did
